WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

-How short-wave electrical current treats vascular and non-vascular skin blemishes
-Treatable conditions — dilated capillaries, thread veins, milia, skin tags, cherry angiomas, sebaceous hyperplasia
-Client consultation, skin assessment and treatment suitability screening
-Contraindications specific to diathermy
-How to design a diathermy treatment plan — area assessment, modality selection and settings
-How to prepare the client, skin and equipment for treatment
-Patch test procedure and skin reaction assessment
-Applying electrical current accurately and safely to targeted blemish sites
-Post-treatment review, aftercare advice and client rebooking
-Infection control, sterilisation and sharps management

Theory completed online at your own pace
Practical — 6 hours face-to-face in clinic or via live class
